Coal Creek Farm is small family owned farm in Pleasantville, Ia. Our animals are raised with fresh air, sunshine, pasture, and plenty of space to thrive, producing flavorful meat you can feel good about!
Our Cornish Cross chickens are raised in chicken tractores and moved to fresh pasture regularly where they have room to forage, scratch and enjoy fresh air and sunshine. Our turkeys free range in one of pastures allowing them access to forage and enjoy fresh air and sunshine.
Our Heritage Red Wattle (or Red Wattle Cross) pigs are raised outdoors with space to root, wallow and express their natural behaviors. We are a farrow to finish operations and farrow in outdoors in huts or indoors in farrowing pens allowing natural mothering instincts. This means every hog is raised from birth to processing. No strive to create a stress free environment for our hogs. We do not administer any vaccines and use antibiotics on as needed basis only.
All of our meat is processed and State or USDA inspected facility. Whether you're stocking your freezer with every day staples or looking for locally raised meat you can trust, we're proud to offer products that reflect hard work and care that goes into every step of the process.
